Follow these steps to get your OANDA credentials and start trading with Egbert.
Visit oanda.com and sign up. We recommend the Standard account — no minimum deposit and full API access.
Live Real money trading — use a Standard or Premium account.
Paper Practice/demo accounts work too — perfect for testing Egbert before going live.
Supported regions
Log into OANDA, then go to My Account → Manage Funds. Your Account ID is shown at the top of the page.
It looks like: 001-001-12345678-001

In OANDA, go to My Account → API Access. Click Generate to create a new token.
Copy it immediately — OANDA only shows the token once. If you lose it, you'll need to revoke and generate a new one.
The token needs trade access (read + write positions). Read-only tokens will not work.

Paste your Account ID and API token into the registration form. That's it.
